It was lovely to see you again last night and I’m pleased you are doing the cancer follow up.

What I realised after was the cancer issue detracted from acknowledging the success of the operation, your skill. I no longer ‘rush to the loo’, the cause of the high testosterone was sorted and my innards healed well. I’m back swimming 30 lengths.

There was something you said on discharge which had a big impact physiologically. ‘Wear long flowing gowns’ which you advised for healing the wound triggered a spending spree and a realisation I was still a woman albeit without my lady bits!
Thank you for all you have done for my quality of life and see you in a few months
